The process behind the creation of the new website involved reframing how Stanton Williams’ projects and process are shared beyond the walls of the studio.

The project pages are designed to feel like flicking through a sketchbook as you scroll down the page. We achieved this by creating a grid that allows both curation and creative freedom in the placement of text and image, and which encourages celebrating process imagery, such as early-stage concept sketches. By showcasing the mistakes made along the way, the project’s story is told from beginning to end, creating a sense of honesty that is integral to the practice.

For the journal, where thoughts are published on topics such as modelmaking, exhibition design, sustainability, we took inspiration from the composition of a magazine, drawing from the idea of an ever-evolving digital journal that illustrates our approach through an editorial lens.
